Course Outline
Week 1 - (2 hours) Introduction:
- Software installation
- Introduction to web design software and commonly used tools
- Determine site layout
- Define site utilising Dreamweaver
Week 2 - (2 hours) Getting to know Dreamweaver:
- Dreamweaver basics
- Plan site "look and feel"
- Plan navigation and content
Week 3 - (2 hours) Getting to know Photoshop:
- Design layout of site utilising CSS, Photoshop and Dreamweaver
- Develop a template for easily creating as my pages as you need
- Create navigation links and buttons utilising CSS, Photoshop and Dreamweaver
Week 4 - (2 hours) Completing Development:
- Implementing interactive forms to retrieve information from site visitors utilising Dreamweaver and Coldfusion
- Apply finishing touches
- Search engine optimisation tips and techniques
- Introduction to hosting and uploading your new website utilising FTP Software
Schedule*
Monday to Friday (1 or 2 nights per week starting at any of the following times*)
